The Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce that Lydia Romero Cruz Academy is the first school to receive a Future Ready Library Grant from the Foundation. The Foundation has partnered with the Santa Ana Unified School District to award a $25,000 grant to one elementary school to fund its vision for a Future Ready Library, which will be matched in kind by the District in facilities improvements. With this match, the total award value of the library grant will be $50,000. The award was announced at the State of the District Breakfast on November 1, 2024.
