3rd Grade Dual Language students, Lowell Elementary
Francisco Luis-Martinez’ 3rd grade dual language students at Lowell were able to have access to Ozobot technology that normally there wouldn’t be funding for. Students were engaged in stimulating activities spanning the core curriculum by building and coding Ozobots. Students worked in a group project where they had to develop job assignments in which they took the robot through phases of coding from beginning to more advanced. Students not only had the opportunity to practice academic skills, but also built on their social emotional learning in order to effectively communicate and work together as a team.
