Spark Grant Awards 2024-25
COMPELLING INNOVATIVE CASE
Educators must make a compelling, innovative case about how their proposed project will advance student learning in the classroom, support students’ attainment of their educational goals, and integrate into existing or future curriculum, instructional methodology, or educational programs.
FINAL GRANT REPORT
Spark Innovation for Learning Grant recipients must submit a video or slide presentation demonstrating the grant’s outcomes. The video or slide presentation is due by the teacher’s final duty day.

Applications must be submitted online by October 6, 2025.
Grant requirements
- Any materials or equipment awarded by this grant remain the property of the Santa Ana Unified School District, with designated usage by the awardee while the awardee is serving the designated student population identified in the grant application, for work related to the grantee’s employment in the school district.
- Field trips may be approved, but must include an innovative learning activity for students in addition to attending the field trip.
- A final report must be submitted including documentation of the activity, outcomes, and photos, within 60 days of completion.
- Grant recipients must wait a complete academic year before re-submitting another grant proposal.
