Dr. Robert Reyes of Kennedy Elementary is able to enhance his Special Education students’ Victory Garden through the purchase of additional plants, soil, and gardening tools, enabling his students to practice life skills while maintaining their large garden. As they show this beautiful garden with pride to schoolmates, staff and families, Dr. Reyes’ Special Education students will gain in personal self-esteem, self-reliance and functional independence.
